Beginning her career in 1987 with the Fort Lauderdale Police Department, she swiftly became an integral part of the law enforcement community. With roles ranging from Communications Specialist to Crime Scene Investigator, Teresa’s commitment to enhancing the well-being of her colleagues is evident.
As an educator, she has shared her knowledge as an Adjunct Professor at Keiser University, guiding aspiring forensic professionals. Teresa holds multiple Master’s degrees and is pursuing a PhD in Forensic Psychology. Her extensive experience and passion for mental health advocacy inform her writing, making “The Resilient First Responder” a deeply personal and impactful guide.
